Let yourguests hearthe northernlights
Ljómi In development
Ljómi turns aurora borealis visuals into synchronised music in real time, so your guests get an experience they won’t find elsewhere. It sets your tours apart, gives guests something to share, and reaches audiences you can’t reach now.
Ljómi is built and running, but it is not packaged for release and cannot be booked or licensed for a tour season yet. What follows describes how it works and what it would offer your guests. If you are planning ahead, get in touch and we will tell you where it stands.
Why operators should choose Ljómi
Market differentiation
Stand out in a crowded Northern Lights market with an experience your competitors can't replicate. Guests hear the aurora as well as see it.
Personalised souvenirs
Every aurora display is different, and so is the music it produces. Each guest goes home with an audio-visual recording made on their own night out.
Accessibility
Translating the aurora into sound opens your tours to guests who can't see the lights. They still get the display, through their ears.
Premium positioning
A technology-led aurora experience supports a higher price. It positions your tours well above another bus to the viewing point.
One night,end to end
How it works on tour.
- 01
Set up
We work with you to fit Ljómi into your tour setup: camera placement, audio output, and configuration tuned to your location and conditions.
- 02
Experience
As the aurora appears, Ljómi analyses the colours, movement, and patterns in real time and generates a live musical accompaniment your guests hear through speakers or headphones.
- 03
Take home
Each guest receives an audio-visual recording of their own night, a souvenir no other tour can offer.
